head gasket leak

I have an interesting problem ( at least the mechanic thinks so). It seems that a consistent misfire caused by a faulty ignition module caused fuel to build up in the sixth cylinder( or at least the one closest to the rad). Then it would detonate causing overpressure or something like that. this caused either the head or the head gasket to crack or leak someho. anyone ever heard of this problem before?
can someone also tell me for sure which cylinder is the sixth cylinder.

I think your #6 cylinder is in the back on the driver's side. The detonation problem is a pretty common cause of head gasket failure in a lot of cars. Make sure you've got the right spark plugs and check your EGR as well. The faulty ignition module is just one of several things that could cause detonation that would lead to a blown head gasket.
