Limited Slip Differential means that two wheels are driven instead of one and it helps achieve less torque steer. its part of the transmission system.

Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) is a hallucinogenic or psychedelic drug.
It is usually found absorbed into tiny pieces of paper called "blotter," but is sometimes found as a pure liquid or absorbed into a sugar cube. It is almost always swallowed.
LSD costs about $5 for a "hit."

The LSD experience is usually described as a "trip" because it is like a journey to another place. This experience may be broken up into four 'phases':
The Onset - Approximately 30 minutes after ingestion, colors appear sharper, moving objects leave "trails" behind them, and flat surfaces may appear to "breathe."
The Plateau - Over the second hour, the effects become more intense. Imaginary visions can appear from nowhere--from shapes in smoke, to lines on the palms of the hand.
The Peak - Time is slowed almost to a standstill. Users may feel like they are in a different world, or a movie. For some this is profound and mystical, but it can be very frightening for others.
The Comedown - 5 or 6 hours after taking the drug the sensations begin to subside. After 8 hours, the trip is usually over, although residual effects may last until after sleep.

Don't forget to mention the depression after the trip, plus the fact that if you do too much, you'll be getting flash-backs into your old age!!

Anyway, limited slip diffs are normally only fitted to either off-road or racing cars.

My P11 GT certainly doesn't have one....

Best way to test is to find a mud patch and try to drive through. If you get out the other end, you have an LSD. If you don't, it's a normal diff!

How do you know if you have LSD ? Besides going through a hole.

Two methods, the first will probably hurt, however:

1.
Jack the car up, start the engine and put it in gear.

You should see both drive wheels spinning. Try and stop one! If you have a normal diff, then 100% of the power will be transferred to the wheel which is free. In other words, you'll be able to stop one wheel spinning completely. If you've got an LSD, however, only about 50% of the power will be transferred to the other wheel - i.e. you'll be thrown off the wheel without being able to stop it!

2.
This is the more safer procedure, but less accurate. Again, jack the car up and put it in gear (don't start it).

Spin one of the drive wheels. On a normal diff, the wheel should spin quite freely, since 100% of the applied power will be transferred to the other free wheel. The opposing drive wheel should spin in a reverse direction to the one you are spinning. On an LSD, the wheel with either be very difficult to spin (because it'll try to turn the engine), or the opposing wheel will not spin at the same rate as the one you are spinning. Can't say exactly, since I've never tried it.

Oh, you could always contact you dealer as well!!!

There is a transmission code on your firewall (passenger side). If this code has the letter V in the code you have limited slip. I believe all of the 95 and 96 touring G20's have LSD.
