Hi guys, this question is for the real hardcore Civic enthusiasts out there. I was just given a bunch of 88-91 Civic headlight/turn signal/wiper switches. I thought they were all the same, but judging from online part catalogs, apparently 88-89 switches are different than 90-91 switches.
For example, among the 90-91 switches, sedan switches are different than hatchback switches. Among sedan switches, and EX switches are different than DX switches. Among hatchback switches, the standard hatchback switch is different than the SI and DX switches.
Are there any Civic enthusiasts out there who can help me identify which switch belongs to which car? Only a REAL fan would know enough Civic trivia to tackle this question...
Thanks in advance for ANY help...

90-91 are and should be interchangable, but not w/ 88-89, as for the other stuff, it should be just ops. such as cruise cont. and other stuff.,,, plus we need pics. what kind of car do you have, or what are you trying to install it into?

Thanks for the reply. A friend of mine has a 1990 Civic LX, he got a switch from another supposed 1990 Civic and brought it to his mechanic. He said his mechanic told him that it was different and wouldn't work. Then I started looking into all these switches myself and I found out they all had different part numbers, which would confirm his problem...
