I Have My Oil Changed By Jiffy Lube, one Of Those Quickie Places.they Did My Trans.they Hooked Up A Machine To It And Got All The Oil Out Even From The Converter.if You Havent Had It Changed Yet You Should Do It.i Go There All The Time Also Because They Keep A Record Of The Services They Perform And Let You Know Whats Needed Next.

can somebody tell me what is the correct fluid to put in this thing, like i stated in previous it just shows 1 "DRIVE" on the gear selector with no mention of overdrive.also updating the stereo from factory am/fm cassette to factory am/fm cd. how does the plastic trim piece come off to access the radio screws. it is a 2002 gc sport.

I would be very leary of having one of the quicky lube places doing a tranny flush , they may get the fluid out but I bet there is a "good" chance they don't use the correct ATF +4 fluid that is required in Chryco's 4 speed . Bet they shove dexron with "maybe" a additive and they'll say it's the same , "it's not" . Most of these places don't even carry ATF +3 or 4 .

First off, your van has a 4 speed auto transmission. I think 1 and 2 show up as just 2. The electronics shift them, so just one gear selection for them. then you have 3 and D is drive.
You should go to chrysler and get the proper fluid. The proper fluid disapates heat better. Heat is the main killer of these transmissions.
Chrysler can also tell you the propper amont of fluid to put in too.
