Whats up guys, im looking at buying a fmic and i found one at

http://www.clubmitsubishi.com/cool.htm

its cheap compared to a Greddy IC and I just want to make sure it will do the job at boost.

does this seem like a good deal?
is this the shortest way to run the piping?
let me know your opinion

Ill sell you mine, i have one sitting in the garage waiting to be put on. I havent had the money to do the piping. Its pretty big size. Ill sell it to you for $250+shipping no piping. My buddy did his piping for like 100 bucks. So it will be cheaper than that one.

thats a nice intercooler. are you still using the stock t-25 turbo? just a word of advice. run the math on the turbo you have/want with the intercooler your going to get to make sure your running highest effency nad lowest pressure drop!.

yeah, im running the t-25 right now.. im planning on upgrading to the 16g later on but for now id like to do the supporting mods and be safely boosting at 16lbs with the t25

im kind of confused about the piping pictured..The piping that goes to my uicp makes sense but i dont get the pipe that goes from my turbo. would i just use my flex tube thats already on my turbo outlet and make like a U or what?

that intercooler might be a little big for a normal 16g.

what would you suggest?

FMICs are never too big. Except for length maybe. Length adds pressure drop. Thickness and height will reduce pressure drop, but height is really only helpful if the endtanks are designed well (something I dont like on the FMIC linked to above, but its inline with the price range ;) ). Some poeple think that smaller turbos will lag more on a FMIC than a larger turbo would, but I honestly believe it is the opposite. Smaller turbos spool faster, so they will fill the FMIC very quickly. And this is what I have seen on both 16g/FMIC cars I have owned (the 2g a couple years ago, and the 91 now). There is no measurable increase in boost threshold or lag.

so that intercooler would work for the time being with the t25 at 16 lbs?

You can run the whole car stock at 16lbs of boost normally. Ive been doing it and alot of other dsmers too. Well actually that is the max u can push out of a t-25.
