Guys....Tamiya just released their new release on today.....in the 1/2 section is somehow boring (05' 206WRC, 05' Subaru WRC Monte Carlo, and small scale Skyline) BUT please scroll down to the 1/10 RC car section, you will see a Ferrari F430!!!!! ya a F430.....does it mean 1/24 Ferrari F430 is coming? It looks likeTamiya definietly has another licence agreement with Ferrari. WOOHOO!!!!!!!! TAMIYA PLEASE BRING US 1/24 FERRARI F430!!!!!

And no, RC and modelling have nothing in comon. RC have a lot of body we would love to have in 1/24 and never come (Audi TT DTM for an exemple)

Very true, not all RC cars Tamiya puts out are done in 1/24 (it's a hell of alot easier to make an RC body than a plastic kit). But- many of the 1/24 kits in the past couple of years were preceded by RC versions a year or so before- like the Enzo, the Carrera GT, and the FW24. It's entirely possible that they're considering the F430, and may have secured licencing.
Will they put one out? That probably won't be revealed until this time next year- giving them time to gauge interest in the car. It does look a hell of alot like an Enzo or 360, both of which Tamiya did. I would guess it's not a unique enough subject to make a kit of- but Tamiya also has a long history of making different kits of very similar cars (F2000 & F2001, WRC STI 2001/2 & 2004/5). Wait and see....

Since I can't seem to get that site translated...I just thought of something. It may not be a 2005 206, but brand new, 2005 tooling for a 206wrc. Mabye finally producing a totaly correct pug? One can dream...

Maybe they could not license the car when main teams drove it, but they can now, and figure that the model will precipitate aftermarket decals and be popular nonetheless?
