I'm just foolin around in the video using maybe 85-90% throttle? and short shifting at about 6000rpm, sorry it's on a dark street. We were going to get dinner and it was empty out...soo it was an opportune time.

So yeah, like the credits say... more videos hopefully soon. I gotta find a better place to host them... can't be robbing my moms bandwidth... she'll kill me. :icon16:

On a side note, I didn't realise at the time of driving how fast I caught up to the car that made the u-turn. I actually didn't notice it untill after about 15 minutes into editing it. I was like "hmmm, I really caught up to him pretty fast!"


I've been playing with Window's movie maker, and learning the little editing tricks it can do. It's nothign special but I'm learning fast how to make them enjoyable, Soo enjoy!

Nah Tat, that's just one of the roads by my house. That particular stretch is in between two large parks. And then you travel onto a bridge that takes you over a river.

It's not a video camera, it's a digital camera with video capabilities.

Nice Try? Yeah, It's not bad considering it's coming from a medium quality camera. And I've already stated that it was an inpromtu thing. I have no control over how well lit the areas are. Like I said, I was going to dinner, had the camera in the car, and somebody to hold it.

I would show you my speedo, but that'd mean I'd have to hold the camera. And it's hard to drive while holding a camera... plus my speedo is recessed into the dash. And since it is an old car, you can barely read it at night cause the lights are dim... not to mention the one bulb that's supposed to light up the right half of the speedo is burnt out. So, you can't really see how fast you're going after 110mph... You can, you just have to look carefully... but that's dangerous at those speeds.

And please, music in car videos is fine. As long as it's not overpowering. Plus, not much happened in the video... so why not add some filler in? I mean, I could of posted a 5 minute video of myself following around a Trans Am in slow traffic and nothing happening... :rolleyes:

Matty, I'm sorry man I ever said anything about the video. I can't believe this crap. I've wached hundreds of night videos and most are dark and not much detail but red tail lights fading into the darkness. At least this video shows from a drivers view what he see's at night and the hood popping up with weight transfer.

Please accept my appology for even saying anything about it, and I'm sorry I got you into this, and I do understand were your coming from. I've made a few posts of dyno slips, track times and pic's of my cars only to be attacked, so I choose not to post these things as I'm not MGM or have a film crew with lights an sound system to make a topnoch commerical production.
