Anyone install a Roll Pan?

I picked up a used FBI steel roll pan for my sportside and now am curious how to get the stock spare tire ratchet device to work. Does the relocator move the rachet device such that the tube will come out under the lic plate? I am purchasing a hidden hitch that will fit behind the roll pan and still want the tire to be located underneath if I can find the correct relocator to get the tube lined up to somewhere hidden. Wish I would have thought this out before I got this deep:dupe:

I always wondered the same thing about the spare. I know of the spare relocator kit but where does that crank go!?

Jethro, you ever discover if the spare crank comes out behind the license plate. I'm still curious. Thanks.

Everyone that I have consulted said the roll pan I used would have to have a hole drilled in the pan to the side of the plate. I thought I would get around the by welding a u-joint and hanger and getting the crank to somewhere behind the plate. My co-worker is a great welder and has some creative ideas once I buy the relocator and hitch. Until I find the hitch I want the tire is in the bed under the tonneau.
