Just finished all my final exams and have 2 and a half week of free time. Well, might as well take out the model that I said I was gonna work on 1 year ago :icon16:

I wonder if anyone remembers this

Here's the new progress I've made on the front of the car so far.

The one on the right is an unaltered shell for comparison. Does it looks like a Levin or what :screwy:

Fujimi did a pretty horrible job for the grille, headlight covers, and corner markers. :nono:

More pics later, thanks for looking

I'm here. And I'm telling you how awesome it is!! :lol2: Seriously though, good stuff. I'm currently working on a new engine set up for the corolla, possibly a transkit for the future. What did you use for the valve cover? Looks like it's going to be 20valve no?

Maybe that's why it looks familiar, 2JZ valve cover cut down to be a 4 banger? If it is, that was a good idea to replicate an accurate valve cover.

The valve cover is just a section of a CLK-GTR's engine cover. I'll putty it up later to look like a 20valve, hopefully as good as mrceej's one.

Today's progress involve the underbody. The rear axle is extended so both sides are the same and the gas tank is altered.

Also did some work on the front strut towers.

More tomorrow.

Looking good so far man!! As for mine, I haven't updated the thread but I ended up cutting the stock wheel wells. It didn't give the amount of clearance I needed for the engine. I like how you did the strut towers though. Nice touch. At this rate, you will definitely beat me to the finish!! LOL
