trying to make a 4wd civic

i was bored one day and came up with the idea of making a 4wd civic i wud use the shaft off a crv i already got that bottom block but do you think its possible if no why not

its possible like this guys whose making his integra mid engine rear wheel drive its coming along for him but it seems like so much work and idk if it will cost that much i guess i mean if u have all the parts layingther and know what to do with them

It's definetely possible, there is a rear wheel drive teg using CRV components running around somewhere in the country. Seen vids of it drifting, but that doesn't mean this guy here has the means to pull it off.

GScivic7, I don't think that doing a 4wd conversion whould put Honda engineers to shame. Why would a 35+mpg, 2000lb car need 4wd? It's not an F-350, nor is it a Subaru. How many civics are off-road vehicles? Sure as hell not mine. It would be neat to see one made though, just for the heck of it. Look at Monster Garage. They don't have unlimited funds and they come up with some crazy shit.

Not saying doing that would put honda engineers to shame. There already is a 4WD Civic, I think it's a Civic RTi and also the 4th gen wagon came with 4WD.

I was saying if he wants to pull it off, he's going to have to have enough know how to put Honda engineers to shame. Being sarcastic and exaggerating the point hoping he gets it.
