D16Y6 into D16Y8 head swap. help please!!

Hey wassup i own a 97 Honda civic hatchback with a non vtec motor(D16Y7). And i also got a free 95 Honda Civic Si Head (D16Y6) and i wanted to kno if that head will fit into my 97 civic hatch. i kno that i will have to wire up the vtec and stuff all i need to kno is if the head will fit directly on my hatch. Please Help Me

no such thing as a y6, z6 yes, y6 no. as for the 95 head fitting u'r 97 block. yeah it'll bolt right on. plus, the y7 block does not have the oil jet that would need to be removed if u used an a6 block.
