Hi all,
I have a V6 97 automatic camaro and have this transmission problem, anyone could give me a hint please ???
On "normal" city driving it works perfectly well, but if I get to highway speeds (60 - 80 mph) for some time (usually 20-30 min.) then it starts shifting very rough, it "kicks" on every gear change. :-( Then if I turn off the engine for 5 seconds and re-start it, everything goes back to normal and the transmission works perfectly well again.
I already did a fluid and filter change and the problem persists. I was guessing it had to do with some solenoid or transmission control device.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, it's on all shifts 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 and the SES lamp doesnt come on. Again, I turn off the ignition, wait 5 sec. and then turn it back on and everything works perfectly normal.
