anyone hear anything about the OBX performance single/dual with two 2" diamter tips? I originally had a fart can - but now im looking for something not as loud but more deep. You think this will do the trick? 2.5" piping to a 2.5" inlet and 2 2" outlet tips. Found another one iwth 3" outlet tips, is tehre a difference? let me know. thanks

Do 2.25" piping unless you have a boosted engine. As far as sound is concerned, I pretty much go with the rule that if its big and shiny, its probably gonna sound fairly raspy. Go with a Magnaflow, or one of the well known brands if you want a quality sound. Also, adding a resonator will mellow it out no matter what you get.

Oh so brand name products like Magnaflow will give you a deeper sound?
I like my sound but you are right, its fairly raspy and I'm looking for that more deep bassy sound.

So should I buy the muffler tip(the thing that goes on the end of the piping)? Or should I buy the actual muffler that goes like in the middle of the piping?
I don't want it to be totally silent, but I dont want it to be to loud.
I have a resinator on it right now, but it still sounds pretty raspy
