Have been leaving on the shelf for quite some time as last month, I don't have mood to work on cars :screwy: ...now I'm gald to be back in car modeling :iceslolan and continue with all the cars that are half way done.
Here I did 2 GT300 2003 machines, Kosei Celica and Autobacs MR-S. Actually I wanted to build the 'WedSport' version, but because Fujimi did the TC005 rims; but too bad that it's in 17" rather than 18". I can't fit it into the Tamiya JGTC tyres, so I try to do a 'Kosei' version. As for the MR-S, autobacs seems to be more difficult to build because the front bonnet seems to be having more vent than others company. I will be doing the rest of them too.(to complete my JGTC and SuperGT machines).
So far for what I've done was body work, but still need lots of sanding and measurement. Hope you like what I did here, and I will keep this update.
Celica GT300 'Kosei' 2003 early.

Great work, great project! You've got a long way to go, but it'll be worth it to have these one-of-a-kinds. Plus, there's no better use for these boring Toyota lumps than to turn them into JGTC cars.

Yes, of course. How could I forgotten it. The WRX will be shown together with the project '98 version of JGTC WRX...

I wish, but what know is resin are selling pretty expensive right now. Heard that 1kg resin and rtv is about $180 each, so the casting factory quote me for $180 to $240 each body cast...worst is that price is for the qty of 300 pieces. :shakehead .
If the price can go lower, I might able to go for casting.
