My husband was hooking up some wires to lights so we could pull a utility trailer. (I didn't want to do it GRRR).
The hydraulic trunk WAS working fine--- NOW it won't latch itself.
This is a longshot but can anyone suggest what I can look for, We checked the fuses. I am NO mechanic--
Thanks

using a screwdriver, press down on the little latch that is inside the hatch motor. by pressing it and holding it long enough, it should raise itself up. if it is the scenario that i am thinking of, the latch was probably leaned on and retracted down. good luck

RHL Oh Thank you so much-- The trunk is or seems to be working properly right now.
