I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4 dr. 4 wheel drive, my starter needs replaced and i am trying to do it on my own, my problem is that i can only get one of the two wires that are on top of the solenoid diconected, i have tryed taking the two main bolts that hold the starter in place out in order to lower it and try to get the other wire diconected but the starter will not come out, i can move around but the one end will not come out the whole way because the other end is up against something and i cant pull it out, is there anyone who has replaced their starter on their balzer and can give me a tip on how you got it out. I would really appreciate it. thank you

Remove the flywheel inspection cover, 2 15mm bolts...

Mine was a bitch.
1)I got a hold of those wires through the mud flap behind the tire.
2)Remove the heat shield if you haven't already.
It killed my arm but i finally got it out.

Makes it easier removing the flywheel inspection cover.
