Went to start my car earlier, and it spuddered and stalled. Puzzled, I looked at the gas gauge wondering if I had neglected to put gas in lately. My gauge was reading just above the red line. So I tried several more times to get my car going. Each time it would start spuddering and stall. Got a gas can and tossed some gas in fixing the problem.

The only thing is, wouldn't it only do this if it were much lower on gas? Could this be a sign of a faulty sensor, or maybe something worse... like say a fuel pump beginning to fail? Oh, fuel filter has been replaced and I've used SeaFoam in it before.

Could be clogged fuel lines.. but just give her a drink to find out. maybe your guage is off? possibly the IAC valve too? just shooting the dark here

did you ever replace your gauges or the background of them. When i replaced mine i accidently made it a little slanted and a hair above "E" is "E" for me compared to my old gauges which was a hair below "E"

Could have sucked up some gunk from the bottom of your tank and clogged your fuel filter.
