changing a headgasket help??

whats up everyone, this is my first post, i hope i can get some help on a almost purchased rabbit.
i need to change the head gasket- does anyone have an idea or even better a log with pictures of themsleves doing it, i need a step by step guidline, i have never done anything similar, but im mechanically oriented. thanks everyone,

You can get the older Rabbit manuals on eBay cheap, even the really nice Bentley manuls.

Yea, Bently tells you how to strip the car down to the nuts and bolts... Do it up like boschmann says.. he knows what he is talking about.
