Mach V's new A/F tuning setup VS Apexi AFC-R

I was wasting time on the internet today (as usual) instead of studying for my 2 midterms next week, and I came accross this:

http://www.machv.com/ectuanddalop.html
http://www.ecuplus.com/

Any opinions on this system's potential efficiency, as compared to Apexi AFC, and other tuning products out here?

Wow, that looks good. And you can get it for about the same price as a logger/SAFC-II combo. I was looking around in their forum and saw that the new update (slated for about $499) should be out in the next couple of weeks. The guy writing the code is working on being able to log knock!!!!!! You can also look at injector pulse width and duty cycle, which is something you can't do with pocketlogger. The only thing I noticed is you are not able to look at STFT & LTFT, which probably won't be a problem. Right now the software only supports the same corrections as the SAFC-II (660cc injectors), but that is supposed to change with the new update. I think DSMLink is going to have some competition, especially if ECU+ will be able to log knock.

Now all I need to do is find out how much I can get for my logger/SAFC-II combination. Looks great so far.

I'm always wary about new products.

The pocketlogger CAN read knock (in the form of pulled timing) and injector PW (on a 1g there is an options setting to change in the program) and has excellent support and TONS of people who have used it for years that can answer most questions about it.

I'm not saying "don't" only why I chose not to jump on this bandwagon when the product came out a year or so ago.

I agree on the customer service aspect and the customer base. But on the 2g there is no way to see IPW or IDC.

I would also much rather be able to see knock count than try to interpret the ECU's timing maps. I am, however, a little sceptical as to how the ECU+ will be able to read knock.

I guess we will have to con someone into buying it and get some feedback. Or maybe ECU+ will send me a demo hummmm :sly:

Thats been out for over a year. Its not a bad product, but it cant even be mentioned in the same sentence as DSMlink. I seem to remember going into this on this site, cant remember. Its effectively the same thing as an AFC, ITC, and logger combine, but its still a piggy back type setup in the end.
