whats wrong?

ok heres the deal,
it's about 60 degrees outside and im driving down town with my pa ultra , i floor it to pass a car and then this happens, it hesitates at high RPM at first.. so i go into test mode and get onto the highway to floor it a couple times.. and i here pinging at some point and to a certain limit it wont change gears... so i thinking new plug wires since i have had this problem before and post it here, telling me to get new wires and it cured it.. so i put on new plug wires and go test it.. since the car has been sitting there for 2 hours the engine is cooler... so when i go back to test it it seems alright.. it pulls nice and all.. but for some reason, as the car gets warmer it gets badder.. wtf? and now it drives ok as long as i dont floor it.
now i changed my fuel filter a few months back and my plugs are 6 month old and i drove about 10000 miles with it. i even tryed a fuel cleaner.
im thinking it was not the wires but more like a coil pack.. can this be true?

Could be a couple things DR.
O2 sensor may be on its way out, tps, cps, and a whole slew of other sensors could be failing.
Does it have any trouble starting? There is a module below the coil pack that sometimes goes bad.

well its in rather good shape.. it's gor 90 000 miles on it.
the only mod i got is a cone filter.... no sc noise, no oil consumption... i'll check if i can get the ECM codes out.. although SES light is not on.
and it doesnt consume fuel too much than normal.
the spark plug wires did some good though.. but if i let it cool like 15 minutes it will be ok for a while... then it,s back to square one.
it's start right up.. and drives real nice exept when i ask for some power.. like over 75% throttle

update
well i took off the cone filter and put back the stock filter box.
for some reason its not as bad with it. the hesitation is almost gone. but still there a bit as the car warms up..
since the cone filter is in the hood it might not have enough COLD air. . now that could lead to piston detonation right? since the air is already warmer and its goes through the supercharger and gets even more heated up.
my other theory, bad fuel... but that im not too sure..
it idles well and drives well.. as long as i dont ask too much... even then.. it depends on the temperature... i got it to the speed limiter on the highway and it went no problem.. when i came around again, i tried it again and it had a bit more hesitation to get there.
other thing i noticed, one time i tokk off a stop light and it sounded like pinging... like nuts cracking. and it went away.
