passenger side wiper fubar

My wife has a 95 GA and while the driver side wiper works fine the passenger side will not move in sync. There is tension in the driver side wiper but the passenger side is slack and moves freely. I turn the wipers on and when the driver side moves I can see the passenger side "bump". Any ideas of how to fix it?

One of two possibles, the wiper arm has loosened off it's drive shaft, a quick thump with a hammer [after feeling the arm end for the shaft grooves] usually pops it back into "drive".

Two, the linkage off the motor that runs that wiper has loosened, and needs re-tightening. Hope this helps a bit.

i had trouble with a wiper on my 94. i just tightened the nut holding the wiper arm on it works fine now. have you tried that?

haven't tried either yet, but as soon as I do I'll let you know. Thanks.
