yesterday, while driving on the LIE i saw some black hyundai accent 2 door with a "HRD" (hyundai racing development?) symbol on the side and back, looked like the TRD symbol for toyotas but with hyundai. i nearly ran into the HOV lane from laughing so hard.

replace the "T" with and "H" and you get the idea.

I got your HRD beat. I saw a debaged (terrible job too, you know, the ones where you can still see where it should've been) Accent driving slow with a VTEC tuning badge on the trunk and one of those "Team ______ Racing" things going across the top of the windshield.

I saw a Plymouth Sundance with GT-R emblems on the front fenders at blockbuster this morning. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me

Seen a late model Caveliar today, body kit that was actually painted, although it did have a few primer spots, non-painted ram air hood, non-painted rear wing, atleast a 5-inch exhaust, probably 17 or 18 inch wheels, and two 6-inch fog lights on the front.

The guy had some kind of writing on the rear window, it covered the entire window as well, but I couldn't read what it said.

Saw a1994 blue mustang 3.8 with 17" motegi wheels. On the side it had a bunch of stickers like "liquid power", and a huge white dragon on the hood. Fade tint that faded into blue at the top, and a can on the back. The thing was for sale too!!! Tr0ike I like how the lady in the pic you have isscowling :lol2:

I'll get some rice Honda Civic Pictures. Theres 2 '92 style HB's and one 96' style coupe. In my school parking lot, there is also an Acura Integra (which actually looks pretty decent) and a Toyota Celica with TEIN susp. Sometimes, theres a Miata rolling around, with a roll cage, and is actually pretty fast.

I think this car should get the fartcan award of the year.

You should have seen the car that the Civic owner had before the Civic. A Corolla with Altezza's, fart can (muffler only, otherwise stock piping), some upgraded headlights, stock wheels (with hubcaps taken off), and maybe a CAI. Automatic as well.

The Daewoo is automatic, and other than the exhaust, no other engine work. Really slow.

^That's how I paid for my MR2. Someone backed into it at the school parking lot, and I got a pretty nice settlement from the insurance company. I'm just driving it until I'm finished rebuilding the engine of my MR2. Would you consider it rice? (mods: exhaust, including larger piping, and some suspension mods)

The civic withouth the tails adn badage would be ok teh daewoo is totally Rice. As for clawhammer you good man. Notice no bad badging *save for aduiobahn but that is my opion* but no huge exhuast tip i can put my hadn in. No cracked out rims or tails. Plus its a CRX.

i think that the Daewoo is ok. It looks clean..it has eye lids and rims and a decent muffler, however the civic has a Type R badge on the front and an EX badge on hte back...how does that work?

YO!, at least someone here agrees with me. I think the black hoods are hella rice. that shit is just like taking your stock tail lights and bleaching them to simulate Alteezas.

I also disagree with all of you guys who think alluminum and carbon wings are rice. even though I agree they look like crap on some cars those wings do serve a purpose, they are functional and they provide a legit performance increase. granted, I dont see the point of a wing on a stock Toyota Corrola but if you got a turbo Celica with like 400HP then you better start thinking about high speed stability.

Mufflers, or as you guys like to call it "fart cans" also add performance.....yeah yeah I know only like 3 or 4 hp in most cases but still, its a legit gain of power.

I dont see how effective power gains can be called rice!

huge fucking stickers, steelies (poor mans spoonies), unpainted bodykits, neons, cut springs, fake hood scoops, incorrect badges, these I consider rice.

I'll drop by the local hang out tonight and get some pics of what I think is rice.

A muffler does offer performance, but my rule of thumb is if i can fit my fist in it you are going rice. Nething less actullly serves a purpose. As for wings i totally agree with u. If u have the HP u need it like our beloved 3000gt/VR4. hehehehe everybody with a VR4 wave bye bye with your wing.

Regarding cars that are all show/no go-O dopnt have a problem with them as long as it looks nice. I really dont at at all. As long as they dont think they are fast becuase they got a body kit and a wing, let them be. Its their choice. I got a ricer quote for ya. Buddy of mine down at Texas Tech said he has a freind with a "qucik ass" Civic, and that he races all the time, and that he might come to the DF Dub over the break. I asked his bud if he wanted to race, and he said.

"Naw man, I can't, I totally just blew out my header, and fried the Vtec computer." I asked him how his floor boards were.

On my way to work today I passed a V6 Mustand with a crapy exahust and a GT-R badge. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't call this one rice either. It's pretty clean, even though it has stickers on the side (from companies that he has stuff installed from) and it's fairly fast, never raced him though.

If the rims didnt have that weird thing inside them it would be ok in my book, i never see body kits where the muffler is incorporated so thats pretty nice.

i think those things behind the mustangs rims are to keep break dust off of his chromies, those rims are decent i think, a nice fat lip, pretty decent spoke pattern, just on the wrong car...

There are Jettas that have the 4 lug wheels. And if you notice the roofs on Civic/Accords, you'll also notice that they aren't that boxy. They are more smoothed and curved. Unlike the Jetta's roof from the mid to late 90's model. L8...
