I just had the windows in my 1990 Buick Century tinted down to 35% and with a lifetime warranty and installation it only costed 150$! But that was at Total Customs in Columbus, Mississippi. It really depends on how dark you want your windows and who you have to put it in. You can buy tint for rather cheap at AutoZone, Advance Auto or wal-mart or practically anywhere that has a automotive section or is a automotive store.

Dont go any darker than 30. My friend has 30 and he can barely drive at night.

$150 was the cost of his.

I highly suggest you leave tinting up to the pro's. Each area will vary in price. Vehicle size, number of windows, & tint quality all reflect price.

i got 5% on the civic for $175 and 15% all around on the accord for $150 - both with lifetime warranty so i got a pretty good deal, and you can see pretty well with 15% but i don't think i'd go any darker than that. You CANNOT see anything at night with 5% unless it's a light, and even that is hard to see

Tints can cost anywhere from $150-$200. My friend just got his 89 Jeep windows tinted 15% all around and cost him $200.

how much do you think something lighter like 35% or 50% would go then?

Around here price doesn't change with the darkness of tint, whether you want 5% or 35% it costs the same.

Its very easy to do but to make it look good is another thing. If your going to try it yourself save the back window for last. www.tintdude.com

what?? tinting is pretty hard. especially if ur trying for ur first time. sure if u have a ford pickup where the windows are basically flat, then sure thats easy. but on cars that the windows have a curve to them its rather hard. i tried on my stealth and i had nothing but bubbles and big air streaks. but i had my professionally done for 200 bucks. the guy said its one of the hardest cars to tint since the windows are curved both ways so much.
