Mercedes MKB SL R230?

Are there any currently existing kits that would lend themselves to a conversion of the Mercedes MKB SL R230?

The Baracca release is awfully pricey.

Unfortunately, no. The SL is the type of subject Fujimi or Tamiya would pick up (both did the previous SL and SLK), but Fujimi seems quite busy with other exotics, and Tamiya... well, I don't know what happened. They don't seem to be able to release even a simple all-new curbside kit.
