Slick-50

Awhile back I made a post because my 1994 GTP 3.4L DOHC was running rough on cold starts. The idle would shoot up past 2000 RPMs, then fall way down to 500 RPMs, then keep going up and down until the engine warmed up.

I forgot to mention in the post that my car really started doing this right after I did an oil change and added Slick-50 to the engine oil.

Now after I have driven the car about 700 miles or so since the oil change, the problem has almost gone away. Does anybody out there think the Slick-50 could have been the problem?

I'm not sure what this stuff is all about. Can abybody shed some light on what this stuff does and if it could have caused my cold-start problem?

Does anybody have any experience with this product? Is it good, bad, or just a waste of money?

I'd appreciate to hear from anybody who has used this stuff and if they would reccommend it. Right now, I'm almost thinking this was the cause of my problem.

ever tried lucas oil? Substitute 1 qt for one qt of Lucas oil. IT totally coats everything real good. Don't know bout slick 50.
