hey i was just taking a peek around my car with the trim panels removed when i saw my wires from teh ignition switch. I figured, it'd be pretty easy to install a push-button starter switch, like they have on honda S2000's. All id need to do hook the starter button in parallel with the starter wires on the ignition switch.
it couldnt be that easy, or id see a lot more hondas running around with these things, so what am i missing here?

It is that easy. The reason you don't see all the little cars running around using buttons to start their car is because it's retarded. You have to have the key in the ignition anyway to keep the car running and crank is just a little more turning. Pushing a button does the exact same thing. There's no advantage of going that route over using a key to start the vehicle.
