My truck runs fine until I turn on the AC then it start chuging and losin horsepower. I did a full tune up and recharged the air. any one have any ideas what might cause this.

He has a 2000, can't time those...Loss of power is normal when AC is on, if it nearly stops the truck, have your compressor bearing looked at.

I had the compressor bearing looked and it was fine but the thing is a also have this problem when i turn on the heator and not just the AC .

Iwas just reading about your problem and I have the same problem with my 2000 S-10 and I am thinging that it is the battery is weak and that it needs to be replaced did you evry find out what was the problem with yours if so i wounld like to know what it was.
