I have a low mileage L6 that is in great condition except for a warped dash with shrunken leather. I have applied Lexol to the leather, but it has only slowed the progression. The foam is bubbled up in places and is hard. I have been given estimates to fix it in the #1500-$2000 range.
Does anyone have a better idea on how to make the dash again like new?

There is a better way, there is a comapny that makes a dash cap that fits very well, I intended to order one for my 633 CSi but when I got it a friend wanted it on his, went on really easy he said and looks great, here is the link to the dealer...

The L6 does not have a center tray. the dash cap would not work.
