How much would I be talking to get a 2g GSX/TSI AWD into the 11s? Including the cost of the car. Can I do it on an Evo III 16g?

I would have to guess about $10,000 or less depending on price of car and any deals you can scrounge up...
Let's say $5-6K for a car...
brand new evoIII16G $700 roughly (I got mine almost new-$405 ebay)
about $1000 in other stuff...injectors..air fuel convert...boost controller...scan software for tuning...dsmlink a little more spendy :) ... fuel upgrade... fmic... some engine work... I probably missed some stuff....FMIC & piping U/LICP's
only one seat... no accessories/A/C...bla bla go on a diet to help LMAO....
And the knowledge of how to use it all.... that's kinda what i'm waiting to get!!! lol
I'd say that comes to about $9K or so ... depending on deals...

Yeah luckily a friend of mine knows all the insides and out of the 4g63. So I'll have his help with tuning and installing, etc. I just want to know how many jobs I need to work this summer to get it all done.

If you're wanting 11's on race gas, then it should definitely be doable with an evo3b16g, a little weight loss (not necessary but it couldn't hurt), and some good driving. I think the most important thing will be getting as much top-end airflow out of the turbo as possible. It would be a much easier goal to accomplish if you had a set of cams and some light head work.

That won't be very easy with any 16g, even the evo3. Consistent 11's on pump gas with the evo3b16g would require just EVERY single mod out there (extensive head work, cams, intake manifold, etc), some badass tuning, and perfect driving every pass. I would be looking more in the range of the TD06H 20g and "50 trim" hybrid turbos out right now. Those turbos will be MUCH easier to get into the 11's on pump gas than a 16g. You may have to spend a little more on the turbo alone, but you'll have to spend less on other mods to get it to run the same times as the 16g.
