I am am working on a friends 1990 MPV with the 3.0, he said that the timing belt busted, so im thinking, obviously it jumped timing. But he didn't think about that, put the new timing belt on, started it up, said that it ran for like 1 minute, then stalled, and it won't start again. He did say, that when it started, it ran like crap, and I can see why, because from what I have read, it's an interference type engine. My question to you all is this, I have reset the cams and crank (I think) and it still wont even try to fire, any suggestions?

Thanks for the help

If this is an "interference type engine", you might have a bent the valves..
This is what happened on this type of engine like those older "Little Honda" if you misaligned the timing belt. My recommendation is open that cylinder head and assess the damage and work from this accordingly (consult with other for second opinion). Goodluck...

it is not an i/f engine, your timing marks arent lined up correctly or you switched the gears
