hey does anyone know how to make flamethrowing exaust for my 95 gp se i know how to get the spark but the fuel i wanna use propan e that comes in those little green bottles but im not sure how to run the lines for it so as not to have a huge bom b or not to hurt my exaust system any. i dont want it to run all the time just in short bursts like when im sitting a parking lot or on the line doin a burnout

well... the old school flame throwers used to just cut the engine spark and let the fuel travel through the exhaust and be burned by a second set of spark plugs...
Too bad though that EFI systems correct fuel in the exhaust, and cat's collect unburned fuel.... so similar with your idea, i created a 'mock flamethrower'. (he he he)
this idea is a prototype for my '72 GM (i could have used the old school method, but this was more fun...lol)
I hooked up a swith to my carb (or throttle body in your case) so that at certain throttle the flamethrower would engage (with a saftey shut down of course)
When the switch was switched to 'on', a spark plug begins to spark via a coil of some sort (which you already know how to do).
Now for the fuel.... propane works... but i suggest gas...
I used a fuel injector from any small engine, and a compressed fuel line (using another fuel pump and a flow regulator). The same switch that controls the spark, engergizes the injector and sprays fuel into the exhaust (of course before the spark).
I tried this really quick before winter hit (and i had to store the truck), i can let you know how it works 'on the street' in a few weeks.

About 4 or 5 months ago someone asked the same thing. Big-L had a site that tells you how to do it. Been trying to find it in the back threads. So far, no luck.
