1987 ranger has new shocks, but still rides BUMPY!! HELP

I think I may need new bushings.. but which ones and where??

Try throwing some weight into the back... my dad's 93 ranger always runs bumpy, except when there's a bit of stuff in the back, then it's nice and smooth.

Rangers all bounce around from what I've seen. They are 1/2 ton trucks on small frames.
