my guess, would be they have to be low boost. its obvious that the multiple turbos are for show and to grab attention. I think its close to impossible, to make that engine, reinforced enough, and a low enough compression to withstand 8 turbos at a high boost.

the octane needed alone, has to be pure race gas almost.

Do you think that he might have the car only set to run off of twin turbos or a single turbo set up and the other turbos just for show?

i dont know about just having it for show and have no use, thats thousands of dollars to just waste, i dont know anybody who would buy 6 other turbos for their car and not use them, but who knows :confused:

holy crap..so he's pushing about 28 PSI, what kind of engine is he running? I figure that he doesn't have stock internals and what not and he's done some work, but what engine did he build the 8 turbos off of.

the tech sheet i saw said he was making 13.5lbs of boost and dyno'd 7xx whp/tq

ok so hes boostin more like 1.75 lbs of boost for each turbo hmm..interesting

yea, i read it was around twelve, because i remember him talkin about how scary it was to keep his foot in the gas and watch the boost gauge rise to 12 or somethin to that effect. 8 turbos are unbelievable though.

its cool for show, but not as effective as a built LS1 with properly sized/tuned TT...still cool though

I'm just wondering how many engine blocks he went through before he got the boost pressure dialed in. That many turbos looks like he'd blast his engine block into the pavement.
