i heard there was a recall on the 4th gen. preludes timing belt tensioners. Does this mean i can go to a hnda dealership and get it replaced for free or what cause i dont know.....Or do i have to buy everything myself.

i'd say your best bet is to contact your local honda dealer and find out. even if you have to pay a little, it was recalled for a reason.. and it's probably best to replace it.
I think what the problem is was something was braking. The prelude i'm buying got a cracked block because (if i remember righ) something to do with the timing belt (i think the tensioner) broke and got caught and ended up cracking the block

they hav a list of recalls for the 4th gen preludes. i didnt see anything about timing belt tensioner though
