I just got a 1994 Hyundai lantra which has got like 128000 Kms . The car is in excellent condition except for some problems during the start. I can never say that it will start in my first attempt. I think it's not bcoz of the battery or the starter motor. Maybe it's the injectors that needs to be cleaned. I tried using Nulon Pro strength Octane boost whick wud kinda help me clean the injectors. The results so far are quite ok. But like I said, the car does stall sometimes and sometimes I have trouble starting the car.Does anyone have any idea as to whats the problem.

Well, the other thing is the CEL(Check Engine Light) which flashes occasionally. What does this light indicate.

Have an auto part store (advance auto or autozones) download the CEL code. They can usually tell you what your problem is. If not go to this website to get the detail of CEL problem: http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/default.asp

My engine light flashes, too, and I found from the Hyundai tech website that it means that the third cylinder of the engine is misfiring, and it could be so severe that it is causing damage to the catalytic converter...

Now the problem is that I don't know what is causing the misfire...

that could be spark plugs. And you need to check wires from ignition coil to spark plugs. If neccery, chang them.
