Building this up as a clone of a buddy's old car. Will use brushed aluminum Centerline wheels. Comments Welcome! :iceslolan

Thanks!

Panel lines completed... used the thinner + black method, worked out real well I think!

That engine looks great!

What's the thinner + black method?

you put a daub of paint on a sheet, mix it up with, I dunno, about equal parts thinner so that it's a real thin, runny consistency, and then lightly dab it into the panel lines... you usually only need to dab it once or twice, cuz the thinner makes it so runny the paint basically flows through the whole line... then quickly wipe away the excess with a kleenex and boom, detailed body lines.

From what other posts have said, others prefer using tamiya paint markers though *shrug*

I used this method too. For me I use Humbrol black paint and thinner. I use this method for all my models; easier and faster I think.

looks nice. Is this the AMT or Revell kit?

The AMT kit, with the goofy looking IMSA Silouhette rip-off fender flares and wing and such. Needless to say I didn't build it that way. But otherwise, I'm very impressed with the quality and detail.
