Please Help if u can

I have a 97 sunfire se, and i was driving it last week and it made a popping noise then cut out, then i started it back up but it ran sluggish and wouldn't pass 30mph. I took it to autozone and they said it had a miss. They told me to take to another place to put it on a better computer and the people there replaced the coils, spark plugs and wires,and the fuel filter. After all that it still ran sluggish and only went up to 50mph after a 10mins of driving to get it up that fast. I have the ignition control module, but before i have it put on i would like to know if that is what is causing the problem, or if it is something else wrong with the car. I think it sounds like something is clogged up and it's not getting enough fuel. Please help with any ideas you may have.

Check the fuel pressure. If the car isn't getting enough fuel pressure then the car will not accelerate due to fuel starvation. If you replaced the coils replacing the ignition module is not a bad idea since you already have one.
