88 Commanche

Hey guys,

My dad owns an 88 Commanche 4.0 T-5 tranny. Is the slave cylinder internal to the tranny or is it external? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I didn't know they used the t-5 in 88,I have only seen the peugot and the aisin.both of those have internal slaves

thanks for the reply. The reason why I said it's a T-5, a buddy of mine has a Mustang and when he looked at it, he automatically identified it as a T-5. It's been my luck w/ Ford manual tranny's that most hydraulic slaves are internal. Thanks a lot xj31, I really appreciate the heads up!

If your buddy is a ford guy,then I'm pretty sure he knows what a t-5 looks like.I know that cjs used to come with t-5s but I thought that was it.
