Performance

Hey guys,

A friend of my friend has a Fiero that we are gonna do some races with and i was wondering what the 0-60 and quarter mile stats are. Not sure on the year so use the fastest stock version. thanks alot

would anyone like to answer my question

I seem to recall the fastest stock combination ('88 GT with a V6 and a 5 spd) would do the quarter in the low 15 sec range.

my 86 2.8 auto does the 1420 in approximately high 16s, 0-60 in like 7 or 8

thanks guys, so would u say a race with my saturn sl2 5 speed would be pretty close?

The Fiero is now a 20 year old car. The stock GTs with an automatic can do a realistic quarter mile in 17 seconds +/- 0.3 seconds.

Ask to see the time slips if someone says that their stock Fiero does the quarter mile in 15 seconds.

what about manual?

manual, the 4 speeds are a lil more 1/4 mile oriented from what ive heard, they can do probably low 16s, high 15s, and 5 speeds probably low 16s. it will beat your saturn stock for stock

if he gets high 15's he will prob beat it, but anything other than that and he wont

ur sl2 stock is a high 16 sec car

no its about low 16's to 16 flat

...maybe the Twin-cam with some bolt ons, ive seen those get dusted by honda civic 4-drs.

this was a stock civic 4 door that dusted a saturn? Kinda hard to believe since i raced a brand new one a few weeks ago and i was about 2 cars ahead

u musta got the super-secret poopercharged one XD.
i DO know that when my fiero was running i kept up with a mid-to-late 90s m3 up to about 110 mph before he shut down (it was raining and his lane was ending)

nice, what did u have done to it at the time, and im still a little confused by your post talking about civic 4 doors. Other than SI's there like 17's stock

it was bone stock to my knowledge. as for the civic i think it was an SI, i know it was faster than a 17 sec car
