gah... wth?

so i take the long way home last night/this morning hoping to get a few races in. im like 1/2 asleep at this point , all of a sudden i see lights coming up to my right really fast. and then the squeal of tires. oh man, he almost sideswiped me... he stopped like maybe 10 ft away. it was one of the newer accords. sedan i would later find out it was an ex. well that woke me up. i sped up a little and kept driving. we met a few lights down. i didnt look over and i was too tired at this point to start anything...i was jus lucky he stopped on time. he takes off a little quicker than normal. so i decide to show him what the tc can do( which isnt much :disappoin )i floor it flying ahead a few car lengths. nope didnt take the bait. so i keep crusing at about 55 about 5 min later i catch a red light at this time he flies by me going oooh maybe 75+ hits the flashers.. im like no friggin way. i was gona take the red light and catch up but he ends up making a turn onto a sidestreet right there... >< why do most of my "would-be" races end up somethin like this?

probably becuz they know they cant beat you, so they go and do a fly-by and make it look like they beat you :screwy:

that's just fucking stupid what he did IMO, better luck next time with the whole race thing.

Happened to me before except I drive a slower car. My car is a Saturn Ion QC (VTi/auto), stock with no changes or mods, that's for my next car.

I raced a Nissan Altima 4 cyl. GXE from a stop and stayed even til 40 mph. Then I start pulling hard until I hit 95 mph. I slowed down to 50 mph limit seeing the GXE lengths behind. I waited for 6 secs later for him to catch up. All of a sudden he puts his winning lights on and I said to myself, "You cheater, I beat your car and you think I can't take your car again!". I accelerated and was able to almost catch him seeing him try to get away. As I was coming to his bumper at 95 mph again, he made a quick stop to turn left as I headed straight quickly slowing down to the 50 mph limit.

This race went from 0-95 mph, wait, then blinkers, 50-95 mph.

i would have follwed him i really would have...but he wouldve prolly jus chickened out again >< this has happend to me on a few occasions. i guess its not worth going after them and starting somethin. im sure all of us here know how that feels
