Check the seller's feedback, and only buy from people who accept paypal. It's much easier for them to rip you off if you send them a check or money order.

Yeah, I bought that same kit from that same guy when I first got my bird. It sucks horribly. The chrome intake elbow it comes with has a huge hole in it. I e-mailed the seller about it and he claimed that it's for an extra sensor that some firebirds and camaros come with. That's b/s, I've never seen anyone have a 1in hole in their intake for a sensor. And the kit comes with a cheap intake filter. It comes in a small box, and the guy uses a permanent marker to cover up brand name. I got enough of the marker off to where I could read it, and it said "ASPEC." Which, I've never even heard of a intake company called ASPEC. And the guy didn't even give me enough pipe so that I could make the cold air intake. So yeah.. my suggestion, save up your money, and buy a nice SLP intake. Don't waste your time with that crap like I did.

Actually the 3.8s do have a sensor, that's why the SLP kit for us comes with the elbow

Well, with the item description reading "Camaro Firebird V6 3.4L Cold Air Intake 93-95 Stg 2" and there being no sensor 1 inch wide about 7 inches down from the intake filter.. thus.. just leaving a gaping hole. i kind of found it to be a crappy deal ya know.

Could be to relocate the IAT sensor for cooler temps idk (i agree tho its a crap setup, and the 3.8s on ebay use 2/3 of the stock intake... hah! what POS')s
