Senior Prom

let me preface this rant with the fact that i've wanted to kiss my date to prom for four years, even thought i had plenty of other opportunities of people to take.

i've spent a whole lot of money making this evening a possibility for the both of us.
dinner was nice and cheap, she paid for herself and mine onle ended up being $18.00 because a girl's dad from our group was the hotel manager at the marriott at sawgrass in ponte vedra, florida.
the limo ride was ok and even cheaper, $12.50 per person, the evening basically went down hill after dinner.
so we get to prom and i learn that she hates the actual dancing part of prom and was only looking forward to partying afterwards. what the fuck man, i wanted to dance my ass off. being that i was raised right and am a gentleman, i stuck around the whole evening. there were 5-10 other women that i could've easily gotten dances with and one of them even dumped her boyfriend that night, he goes to a different school, so she was single! (i've had a thing for this girl since the beginning of the year) i didn't dance with her because i didn't want to piss my prom date off.
so we get to the afterparty. mind you my date has stomach problems, and she drinks a little. she begins to get sick and anxious because 8 people are in a hotel room drinking underage. so again being the gentleman that i am, i offer to drive her out of my way, home to her house at the beach, i get to her house and all she can say to me is thank you. no goodnight kiss. the only thing i wanted from her, besides her to have a good time. at least she had a good time, and i didn't have to spend alot. but she could've had the same amount of fun without me while i could've been having more fun. i hope i'm just too much of a gentlemen and i suppose that was the right thing to do. but senior prom man...

i hope someone is able to justify my evening when all it would've taken was a lousy kiss.

I hated my senior prom because i had to go with my ex girlfriend.

If she wasn't feeling good then you may have done the right thing....who cares, you had a date, that's more than a lot of people could ask for. But i always give a goodnight kiss to my date, she may have been waiting for you to make the move.

I didn't even go to mine or any other dances cause well i dont like them. And i had a G/F lol.

Just let this be a learning experience. This girl was selfish, and caused you to have a bad night. You were mr nice guy all night to her.

I think you should have said, well, I came here to dance, so you go ahead and find another wallflower to chit chat with, while I go cut a rug. I agree taking her home was the right thing to do, but you should have let her sit there by herself if she wanted to be boring. It sounds like she didnt even make decent conversation. If I wasnt gonna dance, she would at least have to be making me laugh and smile with some good conversation. Not just sit there like a lump. Don't let people do that to you. Explain as honest as it gets, because you have good intentions, they should understand. And if they don't then fuck em.

I was Mr Nice guy in high school too, and I let a lot of people ruin my good times. I dont allow that anymore. I live my life, you live yours. If we have fun doing the same thing, GREAT. If not, then get over it.

hindsight is 20/20 which is a terrible fact of life. hopefully this has taught me a very valuable lesson and this wasn't a bad circumstance to learn it in. there is such thing as too nice and i needed to figure that out.

Pretty similar shit happen to me at my prom. I went to Homecoming and Prom with this girl. Talked to her the entire year, but never wanted to date her. Okay, I did want to date her, but something in my head and heart said don't b/c i felt i couldn't trust her. Get to prom, things are going okay, i knew something was going on b/w her and my friend already. We danced pretty much all night and then went to Project Prom afterwards. Thats when shit really went downhill.

I hardly spent anytime around her the entire night. Took her home about 6am and picked up back up around 11 to head outta town for after prom. Everytime i sate next to her when we got there she would get up and walk off. I got pissed off. So i avoided her. She confronted me once asking if i was okay b/c i was acting wierd. I played it semi-cool to where if you really cared you would know i was pissed.

She came up to me later and said something like are you sure your okay. At first i said yea and she said no your not, whats wrong. I blew up, cussed her out. i honestly have no idea what exactly i said to her i was furious. For some reason, i still regret this, i appologized for blowing up on her. Something ill never know why i did. Her and my friend ended up dating. I had a grudge against him for a while. She cheated on him many times, which proved my instincts right. My friend and i lived together for the first two years of college. We are now very close and great friends. Kinda funny how things work out.

My date (my best guy friend at the time) was so drunk, he ended up hooking up with this fat drunk chick who looked like a man. She hit on like 20 guys and he was the only one drunk enough to go for her. He regretted it when he saw her again sober.

You should have just done what I did at my senior prom. After I took my date home I found my friend passed out so I decided the proper thing would be to "entertain" his date...all night long...in the pool, and the hottub, and the bathroom of the hotel room, the hotel bed in 2 different rooms, and on the blacony....yeah i slept for like 3 days straight after that night...

I hope no shit like this happens at my prom, although I already know that it's gonna suck from everything that I have heard from the people that went to it last year, I didn't even bother going to my Junior High Prom last year, I was too busy screwing with my vehicle to worry with the prom, and I had no date, but I'll attempt to have a killer after prom party though! My prom is April 29th and I graduate on May 23rd! yippie I finally get out of my hellhole High School!

My prom sucked too. At the afterparty my date got really drunk and was all up on this nasty fat pasty chick. I left and he didn't even notice. Later he told me it was all cuz he was drunk but I agree with you guys... I can tell when a guy is ugly when I'm drunk.

I know from experience that alcohol makes girls more attractive. I knew this one girl that I always thought was ugly, and I never had any type of attraction to her, but one night we were hangin out and drinking, and I started thinking to myself, "she dont really look all that bad", then I started thinking, "DAMN I must really be getting drunk".... Plus when Im drunk I dont mind dancing with fat chicks. Its a good trick to get into her circle of hot friends.

Life goes on, people. It's only high school. Prom is nothing to get upset about. Relationships these days don't last anyway. Just get hammered and have fun. But don't fuck anybody, cuz that shit will get you in situations you never want to see. Life goes on....

Dude its his senior prom, isnt part of the graduation requirements in High School that you bang like rabbits at your senior prom? I know before my graduation we had to hand in either a signed note from our sexual partner at prom or turn in photos/video proving that we indeed had sexual intercourse that night. I handed in one note from one girl and photos from another, needless to say I graduated top of my class....

True, it is tradition at Prom to fuck anything in sight. But what if you get the girl pregnant? You'll end up with a bastard child that you'll have to raise on minimum wage, which can't be a pleasant experience to have to go through. Oh well, life's gonna suck if that happens to you. But hey, if you get lucky on Prom night, props to ya. My prom is coming up soon. God only knows what could happen............

my prom was ok, it was just the after prom stuff that sucked. i went with my g/f at the time, and we did cut a rug, (if i can find the pic, i'll show you guys) but after, it was like nobody wanted to really hang out, and a lot of the restaurants were closed even IHOP.....(who the hell closes an IHOP?!) so we just drove around, playing car tabg till 4 in the morning, i was hungry, and tired, so we both crashed at my place, me sleeping on the couch of course.


....anyways....

You cant live your life in fear of what might happen or you wont experience anything worth living life for. Wearing a condom helps, dont go inside of her that works like a charm. It's posts and stories like his that make me glad I didn't waste my money on prom. Plus if I did go to mine the cops probably would have shown up. Several people from the high school have asked me to go with them cause they didn't have a date when I went to visit. I still have no interest in going at all.

mine was good, after prom almost everybody got hotel rooms at the same hotel, so the hotel was party central. And another one across the street had mad people too. Me and my friends had rooms all beside each other it was fukin awesome

Prom was the best thing in my life. I went last year, at age 15. Yeah, I was a sophmore, not a senior. Beat that. My date was a freshman. Aged 14. In high school. I was an exception though, because I was an exchange student. It was fun, but I didn't get to bang my date....which I really wanted to She has a hot body too....Damnit! If only I could drive, then it wouldn't be a problem, would it?

the grl i went with tried to ditch me after the prom. and she was also 2 fuckin hours late in getting ready and i just waited on her porch and didnt say a word. i was also real niec to ehr the whole night, and didnt say shit to her as i STILL drove her home and didnt say a thing after i oveheard her talking with her cousin about wanting to ditch me. dont complain.
