no thats not right. buy a boost controler

you wont hurt anything. but 16 is really the max for the t-25. there are some dyno results on dsmtuner with people proving more then 16psi of boost on the stock t-25 can provide more horsepower. but without a fmic its just not worth it.

smokedu454, how do you know you're boosting to 21psi? Do you have a boost gauge installed? If you don't then you should get a boost gauge and a manual boost controller ASAP. Boosting that high on the T-25 will shorten the life of the turbo. Once you put the mbc in, lower your boost to 15 psi. If you need installation directions check www.vfaq.com or search in this forum. If you need more help on anything else do a quick search and if you don't find the answer then just post the question. The guys on this site are great! Also, don't forget to put what car you have, whether it's MT or AT, and your mod list in your signature for future reference.

just bypass your wastgat solenoid. Run a hose from your turboright to the wastgat. I had this prob before to and it was the solenoid, it had gone bad and was making me overboost bad, like 21psi. Now it was fun, but I do not have that turbo or that motor anymore.
