clutch going?

I have a 1998 GSR with 80,006 miles on it. When I engage the clutch it pulls out til it has about 2 inches left, then something catches, then it does nothing until about 1 to .5 of an inch then it immediatly grabs. Is there an adjustment for the engagement point of the clutch? I found the pedal height adjustment, and I also think I adjusted the freeplay of the pedal. How long does a clutch normally last on an integra (I drive spiritedly and have shifted hard, but not always) My little bro got a 98 GSR with 120k on it and the clutch was still original, which leads me to believe that it's some sort of adjustment.

Sounds like bad hydraulics. Possibly clutch master and slave. Check the fluid level, if it's low fill it up and check for leaks.
