Paint

has anyone seen a camaro black with red race stripes at all? im asking because my car is getting painted in two weeks (black) and i think i want the race stripes, maybe the 2 stripes like some ss camaro's came with. keep in mind i have the ss hood now and the inside of my car is black and red also, so im trying to keep all the colors matching. if anyone has seen this please tell me what u thought of it.

I personaly dont like the red stripes (silver looks a little better) but then again I don't like a lot of things....

thanks for that pic, that will be a big ass negative ghost rider, the pattern is verry full! that looked silly as fu....well u know. just didnt look right, now im stuck. like u cuda i thought the silver ones would fit better since u see them that way anyway, but with my car being black and red in the inside im woundering would that clash? i may go stripless, i just wanted the car to stand out, but not as much as that bright ass red landing strip on that car. thanks guys i wanted your honest thoughts and i got what i wanted, the truth.

Stripeless is nice. Black everything, I think, looks awesome. I mean EVERYTHING, black rims, body, interior, window tints, its so sexy IMHO lol.

yeah i never liked colored rims im stuck into the chrome world, either zo6's or y2k's. but everything else may end up like that,well all my windows are already limmo tented and the car may just be all black with the red badges

you could switch it with red paint and black stripes.

I know what u mean i was my self thinking of going all black. Im the opposite of Philly i dont like the Chrome Z06's cause they look like the stick out on a camaro it just doesn't flow with the body. But a solid black car is killer.

your gonna trip when i tell u this. i have a friend who is a big mustang guy ( trust me it makes up for good convo and debated) anyways he just got a 90ish 5.0 from this old man hes been friends with for awhile so he can strip it and throw all he can in his 68mustang. well when we went to pick the car up he had a 98mustang in his driveway, looked nice as hell. well my boy says he painted that himself. so i commented on how much a paint job like that would cost me for him to do it. this old guy looked me in my eyes and told me, i dont do it for a living just for fun. then he says if u and dave come over and sand her down and prep her for the paint, he would do it for free. he said i wouldnt spend no more than 250 dollars on everything i need. he has all the equipment at his house inclueding the sander. so its gonna cost me 230 to get my car done, any color i want and as much clearcoat i want

Well white with orange stripes is my favortie :)
