hey guys, i just picked up an 88 lx sedan for 650 bucks, pretty clean car id say. anyways, i have a code 7 flashing on the ecu, which is the throttle angle. I searched around \on here and came up with the conclusion that if all the wires are hooked up right, the its best to replace the whole throttle body. is that right? if so, is there a better TB i can swap to while im at it? also, i have some smoke in the exhaust, mainly when i step on the gas, any suggestions as to what it might be? i was thinkin maybe the head gasket but iono. thanx for the help.

go to a junck yard and get another one and just put it on there, you can adjust it a little depending on where your idle is at, you'll see what i am talking about if you just loosen the screws and move the sensor back and forth. You can get one off of any civic crx, pretty much anything honda from 89-i think 2000 but just in case i'd stay under 95 just in case the obd2 ones are differ.
