Hello. In a before thread, i ask about changing head gaskets, which i have already done, and aparently done it right. Anyway, the smoke that came out of my engine, is the same, and after checking a couple times i think is burning oil. I can drive the car for about 20 minutes, and then the little light on the panel instrument start flashing and buzzing, the oil marker light. I checked the oil level, and is a little low, i changed the oil just a couple o maybe three weeks ago. My oil temperature is marking me about 175 to 185 after 30 minutes of driving. Now, how can i fix the burning oil??? do i need to rebuild the engine? piston rings??? The engine i think is the factory one and have an estimate of 300,000 miles!!!!. Any input is

Thank you.

PPlche.

300K miles is more than you should ever hope for out of the engine, it must have ben well maintained. I'd say it's time for a rebuild or replacement.
