I am able to remove the 3 nuts that hold the factory idler arm to the frame and I have removed the cotter pin and nut holding the arm on... but can't seem to get them apart. The pin and nut are out... still can't get the idler arm off.
sorry for the stupid question, just wondering if anyone has any insight.
Thanks.

I just replaced my idler arm and had the same problem. I found a small pitman arm remover tool at Harbour Freight and used that to get it off. You need the small one, not the normal one.
Warmonger said he put a pry bar between idler arm and the centerlink? and had some one put pressure on the pry bar while he hit the bolt with a hammer.
Hope this helps

Put the castle nut partially back on if you start swingin a hammer. Inevitably you'll mis once and bash the threads... That makes for a bad day.

If you can, take some pictures Elroy and post them here. It always helps to have those things in the how-to section.
