I just had a guy in a little (single cab) white Xtreme S-10 try to take me at a light. Left him far behind me. I found that amusing...

Could be, but I had a dealer tell me once (in 2000, if I recall) that all s-10's with a regular cab (unless they were special ordered) only came with a 4 banger. I assumed this applied to the Xtreme also. But, when I was coming home from bowling this morning, guess who I ran into again? He didn't try anything today, though.

A few trucks ago I used to own a '98 GMC Sanoma with the ZQ8 package, no badge SS package(6 cyl, poly bushings, bigger sway bar front & rear, 16's with wide tires on a factory dropped suspension). The next year Chevy started the Extreme package to get more "kids" into the truck market for a cheaper price than the SS/ZQ8 package as the salesman said. It came with the 4cyl, ground skirts, and the bigger wheels. All show no go...
