HELP!!!
I have a 98 Grand Cherokee, 5.2. The sending unit crapped out a few months ago, and, shortly thereafter, the fuel pump itself gave up. Being that the sending unit and fuel pump are all one part, I replaced the fuel pump. (of course, the tank was full when it went out)

Twice now, the fuel pump fuse, (20 amp) located under the hood in the power box has blown. Both times, it was immediately on coming to a complete stop.
Looking back, the first time, I was at the bottom of a steep decline, the second time, a very slight decline.

Question 1: What else is on this circuit?

Question 2: Any clue on why this is happening?

CAN'T SAY FOR SURE HAVE FOUND THERE ARE BARE WIRES OR BURNT WIRES GOING DOWN TO OXYGEN SENSOR AND ABOVE THE FRONT DRIVESHAFT CHECK THESE FOR BURNT AND FRAYED WIRES THAT CAUSE THE SHORTS. ALSO CHECK BACK AT TANK MAKE SURE YOU DIDN'T CRIMP ANY WIRES WHEN CHANGING FUEL PUMP DALE

DALE, YOU ROCK!!!!
The wire to the O2 sensor on the catalytic converter was rubbing on the drive shaft. It had rubbed the rubber coating off the wire. The drive shaft has burn marks where the wire arced!
THANKS SO MUCH! side note: man, i have to replace those u-joints!
